Raven's POV

"How did moving back in with your parents go?" Chloe asked as she served.

"It was shit at first," I replied, returning the ball with a quick swing.

"But my dad and I quickly turned it around."

She laughed, effortlessly hitting the ball back. "The three of you are cute."

I groaned, but didn't say a word as I hit the ball back.

"What about you and Cassian?" She asked, missing the ball.

I won.

She clapped. "Good game."

I blew her a kiss before going back to her question.

"Cassian and I are good," I smiled. "I talked to him this morning."

I looked down at the tennis and crescent moon charms on my necklace before I felt a flutter in my stomach.

"That must have been a good talk," she said as we picked up the tennis balls.

I blushed, remembering how heated our make out session got in the private room.

Turns out actually talking to him and telling him how I feel...works.

He was so proud of me that he gave me a kiss, but a simple kiss could never do for me.

I always wanted more.

I'm not ashamed of being greedy.

And I'm not ashamed of wanting to kiss my boyfriend of long periods of time.

"So I guess he's in a good mood?" She asked and I looked at her confused.

"I guess," I said. "Why?"

She sighed.

"I need to talk to him, but it might not go so well," she explained. "Our last conversation didn't go so well."

I smiled. "He's in a good mood today. Plus Cassian doesn't hold grudges."

She smiled. "Thanks, Raven. I think he's really good for you and oddly, you're good for him."

"Oddly?" I raised my eyebrow.

She nodded. "Yes, oddly."

"I'd always expected that he would play it safe and go for a quiet girl," she said. "I'm impressed that he managed to get you."

"Ha, that should be the other way around," I told her. "I'm impressed that I managed to get him."

"Sophie won't be," she frowned and I nodded.

"I know," I admitted. "I'm going to tell her...I just haven't found the right way as yet."

"You know she's very sensitive," I reminded her.
