Raven's POV

This has been the longest ten months of my life.

I went through hell for the most of it; however, I also went to heaven for some of it.

Nonetheless, I made it through.

Principal Lockwood's voice echoed through the auditorium, filled with pride.

"And now graduates, it's time. Turn your tassels, and throw your caps in the air!"

I glanced at the others around me, the energy in the room electric, before I reached up to move my tassel.

The simple motion felt symbolic, like I was finally closing one chapter of my life, even if it had been a messy, complicated one.

I quickly pulled it over to the other side before tossing it in the air.

I immediately broke into tears.

I thought I wouldn't have made it.

I never thought I would get to graduate high school after getting expelled from all those schools.

I never thought I would get to graduate high school after falling into such a deep depression that I didn't want to live.

I never thought that I'd live past last week.

A hand wrapped around me before pulling me into their chest, only making me cry harder.

"It's okay, Birdy," Ryan's voice said softly.

"I'm proud of you," my mom joined in. "We all are."

I opened my arms wider when I saw my grandpa standing next to my mom and he quickly joined our hug.

"Thank you for coming," I told him and he smiled.

"I would do anything for my precious granddaughter," he smiled before hugging me tighter.

I pulled away a little and wiped my eyes.

My body froze when I saw Alana and Sergei standing in front of me.

I blinked a couple of times and pinched myself to see if this was a dream or not. "What are you two..."

"We couldn't miss your graduation," Sergei smiled before pulling me into a hug.

Alana smiled before joining on our hug. "We missed you."

"I missed you too," I told him, trying not to cry again. "Where's Leo."

"Ra-ven," I heard a little voice say before I looked across to see Alex holding his hand as they walk to us.

Natalia was right behind him, holding two babies.

I smiled as I picked him up then kissed him. "Leo!"

Alana took one of the babies from Natalia. "Meet Sergei Junior."
