[WATTYS2018 LONGLIST!] [FEATURED AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2018] Editor: @MichaelHoliday For the first time since the Battle of Endor, the Ewoks have invited the Republic back to their tiny moon to celebrate Independence Day. Much of the Republic delight at the chance to visit this proscribed location that was the turning point in the Rebellion. The Ewoks have sent missives across the galaxy to all tribal members. Reuniting the wayward tribe proves difficult: Luke's wife Naluma is about to deliver their first child, Han and Chewie are on a "trading mission" for dubious clients, and Leia is protecting a young girl from a great evil in the galaxy. The youngest member of the tribe, Ben Solo, struggles with his parents' separation, the injuries sustained on a training mission months earlier, and the burgeoning darkness within him. But a Force-ghost has been manipulating the proceedings, bringing his family together once again on Endor. Is he in time to save his lost grandson? And who's the girl? AU Star Wars story sixteen years after Return of the Jedi. _ I do not own Disney or Lucasfilm. The characters Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Ben Solo, Rey, all the creatures, and Endor are the property of Disney/Lucasfilm. ***A WATTPAD FEATURED STORY Sept 6th 2016*** "Yoda was not a master of the Light Side-or the Dark. He was between them." Luke Skywalker hears this from a mysterious Jedi prisoner during her interrogation and frees her to investigate what she means. Undercover for her own gain, she killed her Sith master to aid the Rebellion, but was arrested for intentionally killing a boy while she wore a warm sane smile... Luke---tormented with questions---resists the unresolved darkness within him from his father's death, and fights to learn the forgotten secrets of the Force: How did the Force originate and why? What doesn't Yoda trust me to know? Is her forgotten Light Side just as depraved and powerful as the Dark Side? Why was the practice of it forbidden and forgotten? Does her fearless play in battle come from a robust will or is she truly insane? Am I really a Jedi? ======================= Star Wars: The Ancient Force presents as a 280-page novel that aims to elaborate on how the Force works while providing a compelling new arc for Luke after Return of the Jedi. Dark yet fun and PG-13, it aims to keep within the Star Wars style. It uses only canon of films 1-6 to reinterpret and explain the Force, events, and character motivations while it introduces new complex characters, fixes loopholes, and provides depth to canon clichés. It is the first published work of a writer with over 13 years of experience in developing fiction.

"This is the first time I've ever held a lightsaber. But this is a Sith's lightsaber. Hopefully it's not bad luck, though I don't know I believe in luck, that the first one I've ever held is a Sith's." In an unexpected turn of events, the Starlight sisters appear on the Invisible Hand, during Chancellor Palpatine's rescue by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Somehow, they seem to have entered a new dimension. Being Force-sensitive, they get dragged into the action as events unfold before them. Individually, they all make one promise: even if this is a dream, they will do whatever they must to prevent the fall of Anakin Skywalker. DISCLAIMER: We do not own Star Wars or any of the characters in it, though we wish we did. We only own the characters we have invented from Earth. =)
