Tyler and Mia have been best friends since elementary school. They've been through a lot together, including giving each other their first kiss and Mia losing her virginity to him. That night changes everything and Mia finds herself struggling to maintain their friendship. She tries to move on but Tyler is always there. He doesn't want to be with her but he doesn't want anyone else to be either. Throughout her struggle, Mia learns more about herself and meets many new people. But will any of that matter if she loses her best friend? "What is wrong with you?" Mia asks in disbelief. Tyler sighs, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't do relationships. You know that," he replies, shrugging slightly. Mia contemplates what to do. She has two choices: 1.) Walk away and never look back, meaning she'd lose him. Or 2.) Forget anything ever happened and allow him to continue walking all over her, meaning she wouldn't lose him. Either way, she'd be the one getting hurt. "Then I don't 'do' this friendship anymore. Goodbye, Tyler." {The first 5 chapters are published on Wattpad as a preview. The story is 100% complete & published on another platform (more info in my bio). For Rachel Beckett the Olympics was a huge defining moment in her life, something she had been working tirelessly towards since she was five years old. Winning that gold medal meant everything to her and when she finally got there and choked, her life was turned upside down. What do you do when everything you've worked for your whole life is gone and you instantly go from being America's Sweetheart to a laughing stock? Well I can tell you what Rachel did. She ran. She moved to Texas, changed her hair color, started going by her middle name and tried to forget she ever did figure skating. When she finally went back to her hometown three years later to visit her family, she ran into her old figure skating coach and he convinced her that she could have a second chance to make her dream of Olympic gold happen. Falling in love with the new hockey coach wasn't part of the plan. Making her comeback ended up being a lot harder than she thought it would be, especially when family turmoil, anxiety, tragedy and love get in the way, but maybe a second chance and someone to believe in her is all she needs to make it happen. **** Very mature themes & sexual content - 18+ only!
