It has been a year since the princess and her knight were able to reunite and seal the horror that was Calamity Ganon. Now, the princess wonders through her kingdom of Hyrule, attempting to help her subjects and return the kingdom to it's former glory. Through her travels, she makes sure to keep her silent knight close to her, afraid to ever loose him again. Now, her appreciation and feelings towards the knight grew stronger and through every moment, good and bad, she is determined to stay by his side and never loose him, even if that means loosing herself. It's been nearly two years since the Calamity was sealed. Hyrule is slowly healing, but much needed to be done in terms of diplomacy and rebuilding. One year ago, Link defeated Ganon, freeing Zelda and saving Hyrule. After not having seen Link in many months, they are finally reunited at Zelda's coronation on her 18th birthday. The circumstances of their meeting, however, are not what either of them imagined. This story takes places between the end of the botw story line and the beginning of the totk story line, and tells the story of what happened in that time.
