In fact, Aeryn's mother was close with Yondu, and was very protective of Aeryn, which caused her to not be allowed to do anything the average Ravager work. Hence Yondu always tasking Aeryn with one job: Hunt down where Peter Quill was running. One day, Yondu gives Aeryn the task to hunt down Peter after he stole one of Yondu's jobs.
